Our History
The Monroe County Fire District Officer's Association was created in 1942 to improve cooperation and sharing among the Fire Districts within Monroe County and adjoining counties. Over the next 75+ years, the association has worked as a single voice, representing the membership towards the best interests and welfare of fire districts, fire companies, and village fire departments.
Our Mission
Our organization prides itself in educating our members to the latest changes in legislation. We also advocate for positive change in the fire service both locally and at the state level. We inform and educate the public to the needs and activities of the fire districts and fire companies. By sharing experiences and resources, we bolster our value to the taxpayers we serve.
